    its a good place to learn, you get to learn what not to do from others doing what they shouldn't:)
    You also learn how to fix all sorts of things you hope to never need to fix yourself.

    I was reading your response to a poster with a blank screen. You asked if there was a blinking cursor in the upper left corner. That is what is happening to me. I dont even get to the Toshiba screen. Once it booted through the post test and asked where to boot from. The HDD was dimmed.

    Do you have any possibilities on what is happening to my laptop?

    That means that OS and it's boot sector are not found. Causes could be from just corrupted OS/BOOT sector to failing HDD.
    Much depends on OS installed but best way would be to make a boot disk/USB with same OS and it's type and attempt repair from it.
    Same OS as in for instance "Windows 10 Home. 64 bit (x64)" which you can download from MS.
